• WELCOME!

Thank you for visiting my little piece of the internet here on my blog. Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or in my case a diet Coke, and surf away!

I absolutely love what I do, and I am so blessed to get to share it with you. In addition to being able to show off my favorite images from my recent sessions, my clients get the chance to show of their babies, kiddos, and families! (Don't be surprised to see bits and pieces of me, my family, and our wild life. Trust me, with three kids with ages ranging from 5 to 16, and two our 2 furry kids, our life is usually CrAzY!)

Looking forward to sharing this beautiful life with you,

    Katy

~ Family Fun ~

I have had the opportunity to capture images for this family for several years, and I love them more and more! Not only are these kiddos adorable, but they are so animated and fun. I can’t wait for the next opportunity to photograph them again!

Introducing the newest addition to our household

No….I haven’t had a baby. Santa has seen fit to send a special elf to our home for the Holidays. Today after coming home from school, my son was treated to a new book. The Elf on the Shelf. After reading the book and finding the elf, he came up with his name. You have to love having a Kindergartener that loves to use his magnet letters to spell.

I will keep you all posted on the fun things that we find our “Little” friend doing.

Hope you all are having as much fun during this season as we are,

Katy

Just a bit…

Do you know that feeling when you have  a super rich, decadent, and sweet dessert in front of you and you can only have just a bit? Well I am giving you a sample of the sweetness that I get to see when I photograph newborns. Here are a few of the super cutie patooties that I have gotten a chance to see so far this year. Aren’t they just beautiful?

Megan Downing - Hi, I am interested in your newborn photography sessions. I was hoping you could give me more detailed pricing about prints, I only saw one price listed. Also, do you have any sort of amount that must be spent on prints per session?
Thanks, Megan Downing

Katy - Megan, I am so sorry that I missed this post. Things have been a little crazy with the Thanksgiving Holiday. I will send you an email in the morning.

I wanna go back…..

My sis called today and wanted some advice on going to Walt Disney World. My family has been twice…once with two kids, and again with three. So the sentimental person that I am, I started going through some of the pictures that we took back in 2009, our most recent trip.  I don’t remember being exhausted trying to wrangle an 12 year old, an 8 year old, and a 2 year old. No, really!! I remember the excitement, the wonder and awe, and the smiles! A trip to WDW can’t be described as any other way than magical. So, as much as I constantly tell my kiddos no whining, I have to do a little myself…..I WANNA GO BACK!!!

Where is your favorite place to spend vacation time? Do you like to travel? Maybe have a stay-cation? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
